Passione Amiga day 2024

Passione Amiga day is the meeting day for Amiga users in Italy organized by Passione Amiga, the printed magazine for Amiga enthusiasts and lovers in Italian language with commercial exhibitors, conferences with Italian and international guests and a flea market.

The location, in the historic center of the city of Spoleto, is the ideal place to spend a weekend in contact with history, culture and food and wine; Spoleto has been able to combine modernity with its past that can still be breathed in the streets, squares and which makes it a unique city in the world. Because of its charm, it was chosen as the location for the RAI fiction “Don Matteo”.

After the success of the first three editions, Passione Amiga day 2024 will take place on September 15th with free admission.

This year we need a little hand to make the Amiga Day passion; While continuing to be an event with free admission, we ask you to help us, even with only 1 euro, to cover the organization costs of the event and those of travel, food and accommodation for international guests.

Passione Amiga Awards

During the Passione Amiga Day 2024, you will be able to vote for the

PASSIONE AMIGA AWARDS

a prize dedicated to the best new creations for Amiga.

If you have created a video game, a program, a utility, a demo, a music-disk, a slideshow, a disk-magazine, or a compilation for Amiga that has not yet been published, participate in the PASSIONE AMIGA AWARDS!

Rules

Any unpublished production for Amiga (Classic or NG), with compiled executable code, that falls into the following categories can participate: Video Game (even partially completed, provided that at least one level is fully playable), Utility/Program, Demoscene (demo, intro, music-disk, slideshow, disk-magazine, compilation). Each participant is allowed a maximum of one production. The production must run on AmigaOS 1.3, 3.0, or 4.0. You can register by September 10, 2024, by sending your production as an attachment to the email address awards@passioneamiga.it.

Voting and Prizes

All entries will be showcased during the Passione Amiga Day 2024, and all event participants will have the opportunity to vote online for the best production in the competition. At the end of the voting, the votes will be counted, and the top three participants will be awarded a commemorative plaque.

Enogastronomy

During your visit to Spoleto, we recommend trying some food and wine excellences of the area:

Where to park

In Piazza Garibaldi, right in front of the Passione Amiga Day venue, there are paid parking lots where we DO NOT RECOMMEND parking, as the hourly cost is higher than in the rest of the city.

We recommend the use of the car parks of the alternative mobility system connected to the center by escalators and moving walkways and by lifts:

  • Parking 1: SPOLETOSFERA (only cars; outdoor parking area for campers with entrance in via dei Cappuccini)
  • Parking 2: PONZIANINA (for cars, campers and buses)
  • Parking 3: POSTERNA (car only)
